The Louisiana Sheriffs' Scholarship Program will award sixty-four scholarships for a maximum of $1000.00 each academic year. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications. The requirements for application are: applicant must be a permanent resident of Jefferson Parish, scholarship award funds must be utilized in an institution of higher learning within the State of Louisiana and the student will be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student. Families of Sheriff’s Office employees are eligible to apply. Only the immediate family of Sheriff is ineligible to apply.
