Inmate Visitation Rules

Prepaid Communication Services
Ally Telecom Group offers Prepaid Calling Service allowing incarcerated persons at Jefferson Parish to stay in contact with loved ones. No incoming calls can be received except for voicemail messages to approved inmates. Each inmate will be given access to the telephones upon the completion of the booking process. Telephones for private use are located in each housing area.

Inmate calls (local, long distance and international) are billed at a per-minute rate, with no connection fees. Three-way calls are prohibited.

Inmate Messaging and Video Visits 

You can also video visit your loved one from the comfort of your home, as well as send messages and approved pictures which is quicker, easier and cheaper than sending letters through the mail. You can fund your Video Visit and Messaging with your current NCIC Inmate Telephone account or if you don’t have an account you can go to www.NCIC.com and set one up. Video Visits are $0.12 per Minute, Messages are $0.25 per Message, Picture Messages & Video Messages are $0.35 each. There is no limit on how many messages and photos can be sent to the inmates and they receive them instantly.

Online Inmate Visitation

The Jefferson Parish Correctional Center (JPCC) allows its inmates visitation rights utilizing a video visitation system for friends and family.

1.    At the off-site Visitation Center located at 2211 Barataria Blvd. Suite 110, Marrero, LA 70072.
2.    Remotely through your own computer, Android or Apple device.

Visitation Center Hours are:
Monday through Sunday:
Open 8:30 AM-1:30 PM
Closed 1:30 PM-3:00 PM
Open 3:00 PM-9:00 PM

Visiting times:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Visitation Hours have expanded to allow family and friends more access to their loved ones.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and will end at 9:00 PM daily.

Inmates may receive one (1) free video visit weekly at the Visitation Center.  A maximum of three adults and three children may visit at the free visit. It is the visitor's responsibility to coordinate who comes to this visit.

Inmates may receive a maximum of three visits per day REMOTELY through the

Ally Telecom Group system. This visit is in addition to the one free weekly video visit at the Visitation Center.

Parking
Off-street parking is available free in the parking lot at the Visitation Center.
