We are pleased to announce the ability to file Jefferson Parish sales tax returns via SalesTaxOnline.com effective July 1, 2007. The SalesTaxOnline filing and remittance system offers taxpayers a convenient, accurate, and secure means to file sales tax returns and is used by many local jurisdictions in the collection of local sales/use taxes.

Taxpayers may choose to file sale/use tax returns through Bailey Link, www.baileylink.net, through July 30, 2007. However, effective August 1, 2007 we will no longer accept Jefferson Parish sales/use tax returns through Bailey Link.

We recognize the many benefits online filing provides to business and the Bureau of Revenue and Taxation. To enhance our online services, development is currently underway to add the ability to file and remit Jefferson Parish occupational license tax, chain store tax, and property tax via SalesTaxOnline.com.
