Applicants for these positions must meet the following minimum entry requirements:   Applicants will be subjected to a thorough background investigation including:
     
  • High School Graduate or G.E.D.
  • At least 21 years of age for Patrol Deputy
  • Over 18 years of age for 911 Call Taker
  • Clear arrest history
  • Able to work shift assignments
  
  • Prior employer and personal references
  • Polygraph examination
  • Physical exam
  • Drug screen
  • Psychological testing

Annual Salaries(base pay)
Deputy Sheriff $33,000
Correctional Officer $27,504
911 Operator $24,600
