Michael Myer has been with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office since May 2004. He performs normal maintenance on Sheriff's Office vehicles while keeping a watchful eye out for other repairs a vehicle may need. It is his responsibility to make sure all repairs and maintenance are done properly, which include oil changes and tire repairs. Each car that leaves the Motor Pool must be safe for the driver as well the general public. |

"I had decided in my early fifties, if I had a chance to work for the Sheriff's Office Motor Pool, I would do so. I have not been disappointed," said Myer. "The people I work with at the West Bank Motor Pool are great to work with, so are the people I meet everyday." |
