Deputy Elmore Patin has been employed at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office since September 25, 1984. His duties and responsibilities include night shift patrol, business checks, medical rolls and calls for service. On occasion Deputy Patin is one of three officers that act as sergeant during the absence of rank. He is responsible for beat 4, which covers areas around David Dr. and Verterans Blvd, including Lafreniere Park. |

| Deputy Patin started working night watch in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, then intake booking as the assistant night watch commander. He went through the academy and worked in court transport, then transferring to the 4th district patrol unit. This September Deputy Patin will have 19 yrs. with the sheriff's office and commented on many good times over the past years and the family atmosphere. "I enjoy helping people and fighting crime," said Patin. | |
