Kathleen White has been employed at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office since March 6, 2001. Kathleen is responsible for microfilming old JPSO records. During the filming process the documents are scanned, which is a small photograph of the record and negatives are then created. Kathleen then develops the film in a dark room, its rolled on a spool, numbered and filed. Microfilming allows the sheriff's to store old records on film. |

| Kathleen started working here in Central Records scanning and coding reports for the Uniform Crime Report statistics. Approximately three months later she transferred to Microfilm. She pursued a job in the law enforcement arena after working in the banking industry fifteen years. She enjoys working in law enforcement, and always looks forward to job advancements within the sheriff's office. | |
