Bryan Huesman has been employed at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office since March 31, 1997. Bryan graduated from the police academy and started working in the Third District for approximately one year then transferred to the Street Crimes Division. Currently Bryan works in the Second District and after completing an interview and physical portion was selected as a member on the S.W.A.T. Team. His duties include answering dispatch calls, proactive work within the district and on a 24 hour call for the S.W.A.T. Team, which includes high risk warrants, suicidal and hostage situations. The S.W.A.T. Team also assists other parishes, the FBI, DEA and Secret Service. |

| Bryan has always wanted to work for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office from a very young age. He comes from a family of police officers. "I would like to thank the Sheriff for the opportunity to work for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office," said Huesman. | |
