Donna McClendon has been an employee with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office since August 12, 1991. She started working in Judicial Process as a clerk after high school. Donna transferred to the East Bank Motor Pool in April 2000 and was later promoted to Chief Farrington's Secretary. Fleet Management represents close to 1000 sheriff's office vehicles. The Motor Pool is responsible for general maintenance of vehicles. Once the vehicles are purchased they are properly equipped with lights, sirens and decals. Donna is the interface between the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Motor Pool; she is responsible for issuing license plates, titles and registrations for all new departmental vehicles. She also coordinates auto and motorcycle auctions for the retired sheriff's office vehicles.

"I enjoy working in the Motor Pool, I learn something new everyday. I enjoy working for Chief Farrington and plan to retire here", said Donna McClendon.
