Debra Gauthreaux has been employed at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office since September 9, 1969. Debra started her career here at JPSO as a receptionist in the Executive Office for Sheriff Cronvich. Since then she has worked in many departments including Warrants and Attachments for approximately 5 years then Secretary to the Commander of Central Records. January 1, 1989, Debra Gauthreaux was promoted to the Supervisor of Central Records. In December of 2001, she was promoted to Commander of Central Records. Her responsibilities include managing the Records department, which consist of 14 employees. Central Records handles all request for criminal records, public or law enforcement. Other daily duties include, maintaining records and police reports, printing all reports for crime statistic analysis and handle subpoenas of records for court. |

| Debra Gauthreaux started her career in law enforcement soon after graduating from high school. She has enjoyed the past 34 years here at JPSO, and has made many friends. "The staff is like family, I have experienced many good things here," Gauthreaux said. "I would like to give special thanks to Chief John Day for his training and his advisement." | |
