BUSINESS BURGLARY INVESTIGATIONS

Burglary investigators are investigating a number of business burglaries where used car lots are being targeted.
The first incident occurred during the early morning hours of April 7, 2014, at the business of Bon Prix Auto, located 3724 Airline Drive in Metairie. The suspects, who are believed to be driving a red or maroon colored four door, 2006 Chevrolet Impala were captured on the business’ surveillance system. A firearm was also stolen in this incident. Investigators believe the Impala was stolen on April 4th from the Jefferson Auto Plex at 2020 Airline Drive in Kenner.
The second incident was again, at Bond Prix Auto which occurred on April 15. In this incident, the suspects used the front and rear of their vehicle to ram the gate; therefore, there should be damage to the vehicle. Pieces of a tail light were discovered on the scene. The surveillance footage showed one of the suspects was carrying a handgun in a “ready” shooting position as they entered the yard of the business.
The third and fourth incidents also occurred during the early morning hours of April 15th. at the businesses of A-Quality Auto Sales at 1420 N. Causeway and Express Auto at 1400 N. Causeway.
The most recent incident occurred during the early morning hours of April 16th. at the business of Deal N Doug’s located at 6900 Veterans Boulevard.
The suspects are all believed to be black males, with one having multiple tattoos on his right arm.
