The suspects involved in this morning's shooting are identified as follows:
Suspect #1 (driver)
Terrence Ellis
B/M, DOB: 3/24/87
916 E. Monterey Drive
Gretna, LA
Single gunshot wound, pronounced dead on the scene
Terrence Ellis has a prior criminal history with multiple arrests for Simple Burglary, Theft, Aggravated Burglary, Simple Kidnapping and Narcotics Violations. Ellis was on Parole until March 2015 for Narcotics Violations.
Suspect #2 (Jumper)
Tyre Leone
B/M, DOB: 1/8/91
918 ½ Vallett Street
New Orleans, LA
No gunshot wound, transported to University Hospital, pronounced dead at University
Tyre Leone has a prior criminal history with multiple arrests for Aggravated Assault, Simple Battery and Narcotics Violations. Leone was on Parole until December 2013 for Illegal Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Simple Escape and Resisting an Officer.
