Third District Deputy of the Month

We've had a busy month, but not as busy as our Third District Deputy of the Month, Deputy Carl James.  Deputy James had to miss his luncheon because he thought something else was more important -- the birth of his daughter, Emry.  Looking at the picture he sent us, we don't disagree.

On a more serious note, Deputy James was recognized in part because of his skill in negotiating with a mentally disturbed man who was trying to harm himself.  He has recently been asked to step in to the role of an acting supervisor on his watch.  He's back on the streets now after taking a couple of weeks to spend with his family, and we're happy to have him back.  Please join us in thanking him for his service, and welcoming baby Emry into the JPSO family!
