Profile in Blue -- August 2017

Jeff Reynolds

Our August 2017 "Profile in Blue" features Detective Jeff Reynolds, currently assigned to the Personal Violence Section.  Detective Reynolds has been with the department about 10 years, and has been previously been assigned to the Second District and the Street Crimes Unit.  A born and raised Westbanker and graduate of Ehret High School, he balances his workload with parenting a truckload of kids!

While in the Street Crimes Unit, Detective Reynolds dealt mainly with narcotics cases.  Now responsible for investigating a number of different types of offenses, he finds it rewarding to handle matters really emotional to those involved.  The Personal Violence Section handles cases ranging from severe domestic violence offenses to adult and child sex crimes to stalking and harassment claims.
